Renting a trailer from Cowboy Trailers & Equipment is simple, fast, and fully online. Here’s exactly how it works:
1. Reserve Your Trailer Online
Choose your trailer, select your rental dates, and complete your reservation online.
At checkout:
- Pay a small deposit to secure your booking
- Select any add-ons you need (hitch, straps, etc.)
- Choose optional Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) if desired
Once your reservation is confirmed, you’ll receive a confirmation and next steps.
2. Provide Driver & Insurance Information
After booking, we’ll contact you via text with instructions to send:
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of auto insurance
Important:
Your personal auto insurance must cover trailer rentals.
Optional SLI is available during checkout for additional protection.
3. Schedule Pickup (By Appointment)
We do not operate a walk-in storefront.
All pickups are:
- Scheduled by appointment
- Coordinated after your reservation is confirmed
We’ll send you:
- Pickup location details
- Exact time confirmation
4. Pickup & Inspection
At pickup:
- Remaining balance is paid
- We perform a quick inspection together
- We ensure everything is properly connected and ready to go
We’ll also answer any questions before you leave.
5. Use the Trailer
Our trailers are built for real work and ready to perform.
Please:
- Use the trailer safely and within capacity
- Secure your load properly
- Follow all local towing regulations
6. Return the Trailer
At the end of your rental:
- Return the trailer at the agreed time
- Trailer should be clean and free of debris
- All included equipment must be returned
If everything is in good condition:
👉 Your security deposit is automatically refunded
7. Optional Delivery (If Needed)

We offer delivery and pickup for an additional fee.
